- Refined from coking crude phenol, it is an isomer of cresol. P-Cresol can be used as raw materials for antioxidant 264 (2,6-di-tert-butyl-p-cresol) and rubber antioxidants. In plastics industry, it is used in the manufacture of phenolic resins and plasticizers. In medicine, it cab be used as a disinfectant. In addition, it can also be used as raw materials for dyes and pesticides.
