Refined from coking crude phenol, it is a mixture of m-cresol and p-cresol, a colorless or yellow transparent liquid, with the odor of phenol and will gradually change color when exposed to sunlight. It is mainly used in the synthesis of resin, medicine, plastic,pesticide and paint, can also be used as photographic developer.
